Terms and Conditions

NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS PROMOTION – JUNIOR REPORTER COMPETITION

1. The Promoter is: Knights Rugby League Pty Ltd (ABN 83 169 964 523) of registered office address: 88 Hobart Road, New Lambton NSW 2305. The above mentioned company will be hereafter referred to as the ‘Knights’.
2. The Entrant is: any parent/guardian who submits a child/ward for the competition, as well the child/ward themselves. The above mentioned will be hereafter referred to as the ‘Entrant’.
3. Employees of the Knights or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to participate in the competition.
4. To enter the competition an Entrant must be a 2022 Newcastle Knights Little Legends, or 2022 Newcastle Knights Junior Member aged between 4-15.
5. Opening date for competition will be 6:00pm AEST Thursday 5th January 2023.
6. Closing date for competition will be 11:59pm AEST Thursday 12th January 2023. After this date no further entries will be permitted.
7. The Knights accept no responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.
8. The rules of the competition and the prize for the winner are as follows:

-Entrants must be 2023 Newcastle Knights Little Legends, or 2023 Newcastle Knights Junior Member aged between 4-15.

-Entrants must be flexible with after school hours.

9. The Knights reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or changes to NRL COVID protocols or any other event outside of the Knights’ control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to participants as soon as possible by the Knights.
10. The Knights are not responsible for inaccurate competition details supplied to any Entrant by any third party connected or not connected with this competition.
11. No cash alternative to the competition will be offered. The competition prize is not transferable.
12. Winner will be selected by Newcastle Knights staff at 88 Hobart Road, New Lambton NSW 2305 on Thursday 12th January 2023 based on video submissions.
13. The winners will be notified by Thursday 12th January 2023 by email and/or phone call. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim prize by 10am Friday  13th January 2023, the Knights reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner.
14. The Knights will provide all prize information to the winners at time of notification.
15. The Knights’ decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. By entering this competition, an Entrant is indicating their acceptance and agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
17. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
18. The Entrant hereby indemnifies the Knights against all action, claims, demands or liability whatsoever and by whomever in respect of injury to person including, but without limitation, injury to the Entrant, or damage to property arising out of or in connection with participation whether such damage, injury or loss be caused by the act, neglect or default of the Knights or the Knights servants or agents or other participants in the school or otherwise.
19. The Entrant acknowledges and agrees that any photographs and video taken during game day may be used by the Knights, accredited media outlets and/or third-party sponsors of the event for promotional purposes, and that these photographs and videos may appear on web sites, in annual reports, or in newsletters produced by these organisations.
20. The Entrant acknowledges and agrees video submissions become property of the Knights and may be used by the Knights, accredited media outlets and/or third-party sponsors of the event for promotional purposes, and may appear on web sites, in annual reports, or in newsletters produced by these organisations.

22. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to the Knights and not to any other party.
